The town was placed in a natural basin that had long been a gathering point for humans from Native Americans since pre-history to the 1830 and 1838 mountain man rendezvous.

Riverton boasts the only rendezvous site that remains on original ground. The 1838 Rendezvous reenactment each summer features men and women who demonstrate skills that were used by the mountain men that have otherwise been virtually lost through the decades.

They were reliable, very nice, and professional. Brandon and his helper were very conscious and careful with our belongings. They took the time to help us stretch-wrap items for storage. Moving is a trying time. Brandon was very supportive in the weeks leading up to my move and he answered every email and text with recommendations and advice and assurance that everything would go well. I highly recommend 307 Moving. All the way up to the move, Brandon kept in touch and made sure I was up to date. We needed labor to unload a large U-Haul truck and a couple of trailers. One of the twenty foot trailers we were using broke down about 60 miles from the destination. Brandon and Chris showed up on time and we discussed our need to address the stranded trailer loaded with half of our items. Brandon was very accommodating and we worked out a plan to transfer the stranded trailer load to the the U-Haul once emptied. Brandon had no issues with travelling to the trailer and transferring the items to the U-Haul - on the side of the highway! Though we did have extra help, Brandon and Chris kept us all on task and made sure all of our items were moved safely and with care. Brandon understood our dilemma and worked with us to complete our move on the scheduled day. I can't say enough about how helpful 307 Moving was with making our move a success.
